just me.. i'm new.. =]

How far along are you? 34 weeks

What symptoms are you experiencing? back pain.. swollen feet.. heartburn, but its been getting less & less..

How are you feeling? i'm kinda tired of feeling so heavy..& sick of my back hurting & complianing about it.  i just want her to see my baby girl & kiss her cheeks!

Any Dr. appointments/ultrasounds/tests this past week and how did they go? i have one tomorrow morning.. i think they are going down there for some kinda swabbing test.  i forgot what it's called.

Anything big happening in your personal life (moving, work related, etc..) --  not really.  my bf might be in line to get a new job which would take him out of town for 5 days a week but he's only be 2 hrs away and home on the weekends.  and it would only be for a max of 3 weeks at a time.  and then he would have a month straight off work & get paid.  and he would be making waaaay more money.  and he'll be getting health benefits & all that good stuff.  so i think it'll be hard being without him, but it will be worth it.

Any food cravings? nothing really.. and everything at the same time.  its all pretty random, but nothing that i seriously haaaaave to eat.

Questions?  what should i put in the hospital bag?

Tell us your favorite thing about your pregnancy this week.  --  i love feeling her move around & get stronger everyday.  it makes me smile & kinda giddy.  =]

I don't know if your boyfriend should take that job. My dad was a sailor with the merchant marine when I was born, so he would ship out for weeks at a time; after the first couple times he shipped out when I was first born, he quit that job and took a much lower paying job because he missed seeing pretty much everything and it was extremely stressful on my mom to take care of a newborn by herself. Now, if you have a good support system that can help you with cooking, cleaning, and late night feedings during the week, I would suggest that he at least try the job, especially since he'll be home on weekends, but I would just be aware that it may be easier emotionally on everyone if he keeps a job closer to home, even if it's harder financially. It's a difficult decision to make, that's for sure - good luck with whatever y'all decide!
yeah, i know that it will be kind of sucky. but he'll only be 2 hours away in orlando. and we could even go down there and spend the night with him in the hotel. plus, he will be home every weekend. and then after his couple weeks away, he will be home with no work for months at a time. so we're going to try it out & see how it goes. =]
but i do have an amzing group of friends and family nearby to help with everything too. :]
Oh! The swabbing is the Group B Strep test. I get that at my next appointment, too.

I have a list from my childbirth class with things to pack for the hospital. I will go find it and post it for ya!
yup, i'm about to head to the dr in a lil bit.
but yeah, if you can find that list that would be great! thanks! =]
o i'm adding you, btw. i glanced thru ur page n we definately have things in common. getting a massage is like pulling teeth for me too. ur not alone.. lol.
In your hospital bag you should pack shampoo and soap (with my daughter they just gave me a little sample bottle of johnsons head to toe to wash with) If you are planning on breastfeeding you should bring a button down shirt or gown, it makes it a lot easier, You DEFINATELY DEFINATELY should bring hard candy. While I was in labor they only let me eat ice cubes and suck on hard candy. Pack the baby outfits (duh) My daughter was
5lbs 14 oz when she was born and the 0-3 clothes that I bought for her were wayyy to big. So if you think you are gonna have a tiny baby pack Newborn clothes..not 0-3 month. Bring your own pillow..the ones at the hospital usually aren't very comfy. Bring a camera/video camera, baby blanket

Thats all I can really tihnk of right now. Hope it helps some.
i saw your comment just now.

thank you, that was really helpful! =]
